Simple fix, it is your window circuit breaker on your dash, it is an all black button and if it is poped out then you will see red.

Try closing the door hard while pressing the UP... helps to see if the motor is jamming.

      Any luck?

see if you can try someone else's window circuit breaker. If it's gone bad, that could be one of the problems. I had a window in the convertible that was intermittent, but turned out to be a bad switch.

sorry for butting in on your thread but im having the same problem. I have checked everything up to the motor and its getting its 12v's and is clicking but have no movement. Is it possible that the rails are stuck/frozen?

I dont think its the circuit breaker because when you activate/de activate it the lights for the window switches turns on and off? any other tips?? can you jump anything to get them to roll up??

Ive tried everything, swapped out fuses, checked and swapped relays the window switches have butt connectors and they appear to be fine. I have an aftermarket alarm as well I think, but hope its not that.

I jumped the window circuit breaker and i tried to jump the K5 and still nothing. The window switches light up and turn off when you activate and deactivate the circuit breaker

Are the locks working? if not the central lock mod behind the drivers speaker panel could be your problem.

                      reply to post.

Multimeter will be the best bet and just check all points to see if all are getting the proper signal,or just start swaping parts. For multimeter one will need all spec. for ohms, currecnt, and voltage readings to verify just my thought remember old car crap! can just start to fail good luck.

Or get a power probe and give direct power to the motor to test it right at the motor.

                          2 New Questions:

Where do the wires from the window switches lead too??
There has to be something shorted under the carpet`or where those wires connect to, id rather not pull my interior out just yet!!

And does one window motor power the other?? I think maybe the power cable on the motor happened to fall but if they are both seperatly powered then its probally not that.

I believe you should have 2 fat power lines that go from the switch right through the motor itself. Then there is one fat ground as well, and one more hot for the lights inside the switch. Connecting one of the powers to the ground should activate the motor. It seems unlikely that BOTH switched would die at once, so it has to be somewhere in the power delivery elsewhere.

Using a test light, you can find which wires are power and which one is ground (WITH KEY ON!!) and trace it back from there to the problem. GOOD LUCK ALEX!!

Sunroof and both windows are on the same circuit I believe, for what it is worth.
