after watching that video I just bought the app, (only the 2nd app I've ever wanted to pay for). Just calibrated it at work since every table here is level. should be interesting to try out on the way home tonight.

I inflicted some more abuse on my car tonight. The only change is the ebay chip, 1/2 tank of 91 octane vs full tank of 87 octane last time and much colder temperature which probably contributed to my shitty launch. This car is in desperate need of a 3.73 LSD and some warmer temps to get some heat into the tires. Previous results are here.

              2875lb (2650lb car + 200lb my fat ass + 25lb half tank of 91 octane)
22# injectors, CAI, 3.64 open diff, manual steering, efan, 195/60R14 tires, 'proformance' fleabay chip

32f, 60% humidity at sea level.

You just talked me into an itouch. Wow, that's pretty goddamn cool. My dad would have shit a brick if he'd seen this. So...thought. If I have a screen deck in my car and an itouch plugged in, will I see the dynolicious software on my screen? If so I'm really even more doing this.

I am using a weight of 2850 and a drivetrain loss of 0%(measuring WHP). Mark D chip, cheapo cone filter, 84 ETA with 200k. Launching at ~2k, i have some traction issues do to rear camber.

2875lb (2650lb car + 200lb my fat ass + 25lb gas). I used 0% drivetrain loss to measure wheel HP. I have no idea what the drivetrain loss is so I'm not going to try to guess.

It looks like you lifted before the end of the 1/4 mile. I bet you could shave 1/2 second off your time simply by staying on the gas all the way to the end. It took me a bunch of tries before I kept my foot down all the way to the end.

I was mostly going for HP. Comparing my ebay chip to the MarkD. The closed course I was on was a little narrow for 80+ speeds. I need to do it again, once i checked out all my results, I think the ipod was moving a bit. I only got two good runs out of 5. First run said I had 125 to the ground though, that was pretty sweet.

Notice the spike when I shifted to second, and then the huge drop.

Ah gotcha. Now that I see the graph, there is an easy 2 second hiding in there. I tried to keep the variables to a minim to see what the ebay chip had to give. 17hp ain't half bad. Now I want to compare dynolicious to a real time slip.
