Your wheels actually aren't LM reps, they're copies of the magnesium wheels. That's why they have that fat convex to them:

Both BBS and OZ are in financial trouble FWIW...

On a side note... Just did an assessment at a tire factory and they had their display tires mounted on chrome ronal bears. I laughed my ass off!

In japan thy were known as gt2's, but more commonly known as E50's are that is what the magnesium centre design is known as.

Ah okay, thanks for clearing that up. What are the monolug BBS' referred to as? I thought it was BBS GT-something or other.

1k is my budget for wheels.

the ironic part is a lot of people on here wouldn't even pay that for wheels

For that budget, I'd opt for some used Kosei K1's or used BBS RK's. I know that's what any E36 owner would go for, but the look nice and are at or around $1k.

Need to put my comment in as i feel very strongly about this fake bullshit. IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD IT FORGET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whats the point if there fake then you can't brag about them.

Its like buying a house that has no internals but looks good from the out side. WHATS THE POINT? Ricer Crap.

Oh i should add i would understand if the real thing didn't come in E36 fitment so a rep is the only way but they do.

There is nothing wrong with fake wheels. In most cases they are havier and might not be of SUPERB quality. What you are buying is the looks. And most of the time its not an issue of "if you cant afford it forget it," but an issue of purpose and how much that purpose is worth to you.

You're house analogy is lacking too. Marble, granite, stainless steel, brass, hardwood flooring, oak, maple, cherry, and many many other expensive luxuries found in homes... are copied in looks and feel in some shape or form to save on cost... and this is found even in upscale homes to some degree.

Oh and for the record... i have a set of ACS's on my car and am rebuilding a set of RM's. But will rock a replica on my car in a heart beat if it served a purpose. In fact, if i ever ended up picking up an e36 or e46... i'll be slapping on a set of CSL reps the very next week.

I'm one of those people:D 1k is pretty close though to what I would spend, depends on the wheels. I paid $200 for the current wheels.
