I'm not a fan of replica stuff either, but you sound like an idiot. If I have a daily driver that I drive around town (where potholes, bumps, etc. lurk) and I want the look of a BBS or other high-priced wheel, then a replica is a perfectly good candidate. Why spend a shitload on wheels that are just as easy to bend/ruin instead of paying a fraction since they're going on a DD?

That's a pretty ridiculous statement. What are wheels for? Looks. Sure no one wants something that will bend, and light weight is better, but just because it's a replica, doesn't mean it's not quality. Putting real LMs on an e36 is not even bragging rights if you ask me, it's just stupid.

Case in point, Maxxim Remembers, lots of people on this board have them, why? Because they look good, they weigh 16 lbs each, and they only cost $600. They aren't of poor quality either.

If you have a track car, there are wheel options out there that weigh almost nothing for not much money, Team Dynamics for one, also those Maxxim wheels on the previous page that are BBS replicas, 12 lbs IIRC, and every Rota. None of us have race cars that are serious enough to need $4000 wheels.

Yeh i see where you guys are comming from i wouldn't want to trash some lms ithor, i just don't like the fact that people go and put all this time and effort in to creating these wheels just so people can go and rip them off. I buy wheels that are hot, and can fit wider tires for more contact patch.
