    my euro Chevy

well, I finally recieved my car!!!!! picked it up 2 weekends ago in Rotterdam! It actually made it over here really fast. I sold my Chevy truck here and bought this thing from my father. he has had it for 23 years and it was the beginning of all of my automotive loveafair. In the last 2 weeks i have driven the thing more miles than it has seeen in all the last 15 years combined. runs like a champ, and the Germans freak out over it.
well, my rant on shipping a car across the pond.
Loading the car onto the first semi trailer they ripped the exhaust off
at the same time the header got stuck on a crossmember of the trailer and put the fan through the radiator 2, kills with 1 stone!
I got jacked out of about $4000 in parts that were stolen off and from in the car/ trunk.
They smashed the front end(drivers front corner).
and in the end the shipping companys are all telling me it isnt their problem and no one is going to do anything for me.----
so I am just happy the thing is here, and am going to sit back, lick my wound and cuss out EVERY Hollander that I ever see as well as all Bulgarian truck drivers in the U.s.! lairs and bastards-- all of em!

BTW Utrecht is a shithole! even got screwed by the taxi driver- asked him to take us to where the party is at, dropped us off in the ghetto (little Istanbuhl)- had to walk back to the hotel in the rain! I hope holland gets flooded and they all float off into the sea!!!-- except you Mtechnik.

this winter i am going to be welding in all new floors and possibly paint it if money pops out of my a** magically.

it doesnt quite handle as good as the M3.(actually not even sorta close) but I am pretty sure it is faster in straight line acceleration-- and it sure does cause alot of attention with the flowmasters and the headers on it.

    euro plate filler!!!

and part of my back yard with the EURO sheep and Euro chickens mod.

Sorry to hear the shipping guys fucked it up for you. I am sure you'll make it all better in the end.

Needs uro bumpers, and, green offset control arm mounts.

Looks like a much better Chevy to be running around with in a foreign country.

It's cool to see the work you've done on the sheep. I'd personally shave it though (going for a maybe lower them too).

I started on GTO's with my dad. He just sold his last one (and didn't ask me first)! That's a little off topic.. Anywho..

              She looks great and enjoi!

the sheep are actually the neighbors- i wouldnt know what to do with them( although a scotish guy I used to work with used to say they feel like the real deal )-- why the scotish wear rubber boots is what he said to me was to put the rear legs of the sheep in-- I never let him alone with them though.
they munch the grass, and I dont have to cut it!! he shaves them for lower wind resistance / weight himself a few times a year though.

me and my father did a bunch of "old" cars in the time I was 14 until i went into the army at 18, but he kept this, my mothers 57 bel air, and his 56 sedan delivery. I came out of a Hot rod family, didnt even know what a BMW really was until I came to germany and saw them here, except a few e30 M3s used to show up at the cruise back in 1991- everyone used to lie and say they were fast--haha

the car has a 350 in it with a bigger cam(what the specs are I have no idea was put in there about 15 years ago), geardrive(no timing chain anymore), 2,02 heads, edelbrock 600cfm 4bbl, headers, 2000stall converter on a built 350turbo trans, and a 4,10 posi.- kinda sux for the autobahn i guess.

ohh, and screw the rooster mod, that crap is too damn loud!!!

Dude sorry to hear about the truck driver man. I was born in bulgaria and moved to the states when i was eight years old. From what i hear from all my relatives that are still over there, the whole country has turned to shit. Post communism, everything still remains corrupt... from the politicians all the way down to your local truck driver i guess. Not saying that everyone is like that over there, but its bad enough where i wouldnt trust anyone i dont know if i ever went back. Such a shame really... its a very beautiful place with a long history. One of the oldest cities in the world (arguably the oldest city in the world) is in bulgaria.

Anyway.. enough of my history lesson... just saddens me. Sorry to hear about your car and the truck driver. What a shame.

^ Next to the throttle pedal, like most automatic cars.

yeah, I had a 4 speed with most of the brackets to convert it- some of the things that were stolen.

the truck driver was actually the one who delivered the car from Chicago to NJ. he even said he was going to visit Bulgaria in a few weeks- guess he figured he could make a few more dollars for his vacation. (I am 90% sure it was him but can't prove a thing)funny thing is this is the second time I have been screwed by a Bulgarian ( the 2nd deal with one too)- when i sold one of my e21s to one back in the day he said he would give me 500 dollars in a few weeks-- little did I know he wasnt going to come back here to live!! ohh well, live and learn.
the shifter is an automatic, its a slapstick for 1/4 mile racing so you dont miss a shift or accidently shift into reverse or neutral.-- another thing the shipping companies broke because they had no idea how it works, so they just tried to force it.
