I had to read it thrice.
Spoke with the boss of a pattern maker shop that my buddy works at re: making the molds for these. The cheapest quote i got from other glass manufacturers was $7,000 for the molds.
If i can get that price down to around $3-4,000 though my buddy, i might go through with it.turk@gutenparts.com

There are new fog light kits on ebay for $40. How about trying to get ahold of the manufacturer to see if they can sell you a shipment of just lenses. They look pretty legit.
