    Last I checked, NEW shocks extend a bit futher than that. They're obvoiusly severly worn or even completely blown.

      I would say generally, unless you know the exact history of the shock (ie, you know the previous owner), buying used shocks is useless. Unless of course you plan on rebuilding them. Akin to buying used brake pads....

          ken if there new, most shocks come compressed, to make the package smaller, twist the rod and it extends.
























          i still wouldn't buy them :p

              Meh, those stickers are pieces of shit anyways. About the same holding strength as a postage stamp.

                    i dont think the rears are gas shocks (just oil) so they dont extend on their own..... it says they are brand new, so i dont see anything wrong with them for someone who wants to replace worn out stock shocks
