So out of complete curiosity.. what was everyones first car?
1984 318i. Total beater, cut springs, chrome wheels... But I loved it. At one point it was low enough where itd hit reflectors when I switched lanes. Sold it to some dude in Washington, and it got broken into, then the insurance company totalled it, sadly.
PS: Lets see your boobs.
ohh yeah.. and those puppies arent even my best feature ;)
lol! j/p
...oh wait, is this a dude?
My dad gave me a book when i was 15 to look through and see what kind of car i would want. I picked a 64 Impala, 68-71 Dodge Dart, and a 70 Dodge Super Bee. Mind you this is when the prices of these cars was low. And i got to give a big thanks to my parents for doing this for me .
But anyway. I ended up getting a 71 Dodge Dart. 318 auto, 2bbl,with a set of headers. I didn't even get to drive the car since he found a 70 Dart a few weeks later while he was on vacation. So the 71 was sold and the 70 was brought home. It's the one i got my license with and had up to my JR. year of high school. I sold it that summer and got a 66 Dodge Coronet 500 in my SR. year of high school. It had a big block 383 4bbl with a small cam, headers, intake and a carb.
This is the 1970 Dodge Dart that i had through out high school. 318 4bbl,ported heads,340 intake, headers, small cam,3.23 gears,8 3/4 rear, EB5 blue with black int and vinyl top. When i first started to drive, gas for 93oct. was 99 cents. but a year later it went up to $1.02
Another odd story with this car is. In the short time i had the 71, i was looking through some older issues of High Performance Mopar. And seen a car i that i would of liked the 71 to look like. Fast forward to after i sold the 70. I was looking though that same mag again, i reallized that the car i was looking at was the 70 that i had. (Color picture is the day it was bought)
I believe so, my bro-in-law said I got city lights. I always assumed he meant parking lights. Sorry for sounding like a noob but what's the difference?
Man, I totally wanted a 16v GTi, but couldn't find a good one at the time... I bet those pulled pretty hard for a little 4 banger =)

yeah the 16v was a blast. Quite a difference between that and the 1.8 8v. The citylights are mounted inside the sealed beam light... they should have a switch or wired in to parking lights, if I remember right they give a nice soft glow and look pretty sweet on.
1988 BMW 325, AlpineWieB on grey cloth. The PO had alread put a 4.10 LSD in it, I ghetto-stripped it and threw and b25i head on it. Little bugger had 211k miles on it and you pull to 6900 rpm like a champ and chirp third gear.
'93 Maxima. It was donated from my mother, and I beat the living shit out of that car. It was great, never gave me a single problem.
haha me too! it wasn't my moms, but i beat the living shit out of it as well. I had the SE model with 190HP. That car was waaaay too fast to be my first car. Even though me r3ving it led to me buying my first e30, I still wish I had it sometimes.
