no doubt. my eta will spin the tire.. lol
etta 325 take a deep breath and don't punch the throttle so much. throttle and clutch control will keep your e30 from being another sob story.

ya man i am working on it. ive been too stoaked with my car because i have been working on it a lot. I gotta slow down. I dont want to lose my e30 right after I got it.
Oh and ya I am looking at some rain tires for auto-x that I will use on the street when it rains.
I have some race tires right now that have been just laying around since 2000. I needed new tires and some guys at my dads shop had them so I got my rota's and put those on it right now.

etta - what kind of stuff did you use to get rid of the water spots? i have some hard water spots on my car and tried to just wash it off. it got most of it off, but you can still see traces.
i think today was the first time ive driven the iX in the rain since i got it. it felt so much better than my previous car, an '85 528e. i had to drive the e28 today and i was slipping and sliding, combination of the torque, rain, and crappy tires. the iX feels so much more stable.

I would choose your tires wisely.... even my tired m10 can spin tires in 1st and 2nd and get you in trouble quickly on fairly soft suspension as well.... on worn rt615 tires (not fun in rain).

I first used some turtle wax which was getting it off but not all the way but then I found some old stuff in my garage that was called like R-32 resin or something like that. You can go to kragens or a car supplies store and find anykind of hard rubbing compound that is clear coat safe and it should work pretty well.
it sounds like your doing pretty good so far just make sure that whatever you use you do it by hand which some application pads and rub it in hard for awhile to get all the spots off. it will turn out great if you do it right.
hope that helps. good luck.

ya i just put some new springs on my car yesterday when it was raining (in our shop though) and I could tell it was alot easier to loose traction afterwards. I am still looking with my dad for some tires that will work better in the rain. we are looking for some 225 rains for my car that we will also be able to use for racing. I have slowed down alot the last couple of days makeing sure that I am not going to crash my car.

That stuff should work just make sure you work it in well and take your time. Do it by hand and not with an electric POS
