    To trade or not to?

So I've got a very clean semi-high mileage E36 328is with freshly re-done leather interior, new bilstein suspension with a bunch of new M3 bushings on it, an M-tech front bumper and M Contour wheels.
My co-worker has a 95 540i 6spd (E34)with less mileage and in pretty decent condition which he might be willing to trade me. It's also got some pimp ass BBS wheels.

    Should I do it?

I gather from your sig that it's your DD, so consider 2 things: it will be more comfortable, but it will use more gas. Other than that, it's kind of a tossup. Both cars sound really nice.

Yeah, it will use more gas, but insurance is $100 a year cheaper. I also ride my bicycle to work most days now as well so my fuel use has gone down a lot this year.

I dunno about you, but I have a special place in my heart for the 540i, especially with that tranny. It's a pretty rare combo. Do you know if it has gotten the new Alusil block?
