... when I was driving back to work after lunch. I saw a black 911 up ahead of me so, being the 911 fanatic that I am, I naturally sped up to catch him. I got within about 30 feet and realized that it was a 993... with a twist. Upon futher inspection I noticed that it had a huge wing-spoiler on the rear (read: GT2 spoiler :P ). So I got a bit closer and saw the 'GT2' badge on the boot-lid. For a moment I thought that it might just be some poser with a wing and a badge, but then it turned down a side street, dropped a cog, and hit the loud-pedal

Well it was a track-only car so I'm not sure if it's exactly "street-legal". Speaking of non-streetlegal cars, a friend of my Dad's had a 935 that he used to drive up and down I-5 in Southern Oregon. (If you're a Porsche fan and you don't know what the 935 is you should shoot yourself now.) The guy used to keep a $100 taped to the dashboard and if, during acceleration, you could get your back off of the seat to grab it the cash was yours... nobody was ever able to grab it.Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.

w00t. I got to follow a 911 GT2 on the highway up form wichita doign a 100 with a mustang GT behind me. The crazy thing was at that speed the guy in the 911 was reading some sort of newspaper the entire time. :?
I was stupid too. I was drafting him not thinking about the fact that even with his slow reaction from reading the paper he could probably still outbrake me.Im now E30less.
