Boy did this thread steer off course. We went from aftermarket sport seats...to stealing cars...to snipping battery cables...to the improbability of slipping under a E30 sitting on a Cup Kit. Back on topic ladies.....
I recently learned about those sport seats from Bekkers....and I wouldn't mind sporting a pair in my car. Definately more supportive bolstering than my factory non-sport seats and that cloth will hold my can in place better than my vinyl seats ever would. Plus it retains the recline function which is nice if you still use your ride as a daily driver and desire to retain some civility/utility. For the price it seems quite reasonable......especially when you consider what folks want for a decent set of factory sport seats these days.
Now if my car were a track toy, I would definately seek out some fixed-back ultra light racing seat with a harness instead.

yeah...the Bekkers seat just seems like a better option...the
Corbeau GTS II is really nice, but the list price is almost twice
that of the Bekkers model...
my 325is is considered a daily driver, and i've spent some
$$$ on it, but seats are one of those items that i really don't
think i need to spend more $ on...i've had the car a year in
october and i've only put about 2k miles on it (i'm self-employed
and work from my home), so my butt isn't planted in the seat
for long periods of time...
i think the Bekkers seat will serve my purpose well...

anybody interested in some great condition factory sport
seats? no tears, just a bit of surface finish cracking on the
drivers side bolster...there is a very small split in the piping
on the passenger side...
if anybody's interested, i'll go to the trouble of posting pics...
thanks.

I am looking for some seats as well maybe there is some potential for a group buy here, I was going to bring this up but didn't think that there would be such a big interest for seats at the same time.
Ive been looking at Corbeau's and Cobras, Also was hoping for some good deals on the bay but there hasn't been any nice used seats lately.
Hunsaker seats have kind of caught my interest and was looking at their "Hauss" seat, they also have a reclinable seat but im not sure how junky they are.Comment

But I'm getting these:

Once again, say whatever you want. I sat and rode in them, I liked them, and I like the AC Schnitzer badges.Comment
