Why do people have to mess things up?

Im kinda pissed off right now because I walked out of work the other day and my $20 ///M valve stem covers that one of my friends got me for my birthday were gone. I was pissed beyond belief because of all the things I've gone through just for those valve stem covers. I had just polished them 2 ays before to...... and to make things worse I guess they jumped on the hood or something because I had about 6 more dents than I already had from people jumping on my hood.....


I just wondered if anyone else had these problems with their E30's and also people calling it a peice of crap when I say it's an '89 and then when they find out its a BMW they like it again. WTF???

That does suck for sure. I feel your pain as well. About two months ago I walked out to my car one morning as I was leaving for work and what do I see? Some ass thought it would be 'funny' to take a red permanent ink marker to the trunk of my car. Picture this: Alpineweiss with deep red squiggles. I was :x What's most aggrevating about this is that my car was parked in the driveway when it happened. The nerve.

I swear if I caught the mo-fo in the act they would've received free trip to the local E/R.

Well I live here and I'd have to agree completely. I've been all over the country and this is the biggest sh*thole I've ever seen. The only thing worse than Houston is Galveston. I can't wait to get the hell out of here.

no one is mad at me they ust think its funny to screw with other people's cars because there a-holes and think it'll be funny and sharpie guy..i feel your pain... i have the alpinweiss too...and one day i walked outta school and there was ketchup all over it... and that crap doesn't come off easy.

I get that too sometimes... For some unknown reason nice clean cars are a target...

I keep my car in a secured garage and I still have problems.
I've had my top slashed twice, keyed by some mexican, then after it was all fixed someone poked a hole in the rear window the next week. While parked on the street Someone also tossed a cigarette onto the car, lucky it didn't land on the top which is what they were probably aiming for and lucky it was raining so the paint wasn't damaged... Also someone put a large box on my trunk after it was just painted and slid it off leaving lots of fine scratches that can only be wet sanded out. I still haven't had that fixed yet.
My out of pocket expenses were;
to have the top fixed twice costed me 1100 and my insurance 6000
to have the car repainted costed me 2100 and my insurance 6000

On the bright side for 3200 my car now looks better than new, my insurance isn't too happy but I really don't care about them, I pay for it in end anyway.

People are jealous, and rather then working hard to get their own nice car, they take the easy route and jack stuff off other people's car.

Case in point: My LAST day of work at my internship, someone stole two of my wheels off my Integra. My guess is it was some jealous kid who thought the wheels would look hot on his Honduh. Getting that situation resolved was a headache, even with good insurance.

Robert, I totally understand how you feel. I'm a student. I work hard for little money. Granted my car is completely stock, but it annoys me that people need to steal stuff, rather than just work hard themselves.
