Do they even offer the 3 door A3 in the U.S.? given the only ones i've seen are those of people making enough money to afford one, and usually people who have families, so i have only seen the 5 door.

I wonder how fun that C30 really is to drive? Every Volve I've even driven (sedans and the 2 door coupe) were the most boring cars to drive next to Toyota/Lexus. At least GTI and A3 are FUN to drive when you want it. And yes A3 does come with a 2.0T, and can be had with a DSG but I've only driven a 5 door and as far I as know there are no 2 door versions here yet... S3 would be TITS

I didn't like them at first, the more I see them though, the more I like them. Now I like them a lot. I've heard they're disappointing to drive, but look good on paper.

Of course I like the 135i hatch better, but that's not really an option.

Really? I do, I wouldn't buy a FWD DD. Well, I say I wouldn't, but I would buy a Corrado, but one of the main things keeping me away is that I'm pretty confident I'd get sick of it fast.

Really! My beater is FWD. It's not like I notice some huge difference as I get on to the highway and drive 20 miles, then exit and pull into a parking lot 3/4 of mile later.

FWD cars can be made to handle extremely well, they just have to be driven and setup differently than a RWD.

I guess it depends on how you define DD. If it's a beater, then yea, who the hell cares. But a brand new car isn't a beater.

I went to look at the new A3, they don't make the 2 door version for the US, forget about the S3, and to add to the insult, it costs more to lease the A3 than the A4 (which is 4-5 grand more expensive), Audi's scred up thinking is that they don't want to offer a good leasing program on the A3 forcing people to finance it, so that it won't compete with their best selling car - the A4 :(

That Heico C30 looks awful, Amazon for me please. The old P1800S was by far the most beautiful Volvo ever produced, I love the rear fin design that was so popular in the late 50's and early 60's.
