Volvo C30 R-Design

I find this Hatch to be one of the sexiest around. Price is more than i can afford, and i look it, so theres no way i could test drive it.
Have any of you been able to test drive the Volvo C30?

Thoughts?
Power?
Handling?

Saw a 135i last week going to one of my classes, the guy driving it looked like a douche.
But i saw this one today, i was intrigued.
This one is reasonably priced too.

I dig the Volvo, would make a nice DD with a slight drop and some wheels.

Hatches are nice for the convienence factor.

I personally love the C30... I was debating buying one actually. Theyre not badly priced at all, and our dealership has a Volvo sister store. I just cant see making payments on a car. I think theyre cool. I echo z31, and with a little drop and some clean wheels, itd look real solid.

Nice car. I've ridden in one and it felt pretty stable and understeery, but the stock tires (at least on this one) were complete crap. It didn't bounce around as much as most other stock cars when pushed, plus I think it looks pretty cool.

It's basically a Mazdaspeed 3 with a nice interior. Pretty decent car for 25k.

Agreed. If you were in the market for a "hotter" hatchback, get a MkV GTI w/DSG.

I'd take the c30 over the GTI. I love the 5cyl burble and the styling is just to die for. I'd get it in black with the lighter wood int and slap on some BBS

I'd wait until we get the 1er 3-door hatchback, it looks much better than a C30 IMO. If not that, then a Candy White on Interlagos MkV GTI with DSG and Huffs would suffice.

yeah it's funny, I didn't like the 1 series 5 door, but the 3 door is totally hot
