Comparable car to the E30

a VW? a FWD VW at that?! lol The only VW worth the hassle is 1st gen and 2nd gen GTI, a Mk4 awd R32 and Corrado.... rest are utter garbage imho.

I'll add 510 to the 2002, Miata, S2000, RX7, 240sx list.

2nd gen RX-7s are very similar in speed and handling, They are balanced and easy to work on as well.

Uhh, s2000 is not comparable...

+1 to everything, but I'd add Corrado to the list. 2nd gen RX-7s are cool, but the engines have to be rebuilt every 100k miles

I think a 2002 would be a bit too old/small for him. He is thinking maybe an S2000 or an Rx-7. lol if he keeps to those ideas I wont be seeing him in his own car for a few years.

I was considering getting a different type of car to replace my first e30, and the only things I could thing of were 944, e36, and 240sx. All of them inferior IMO
