Hi guys,
I have owned 3 over the past 4 or 5 years, but as some of you may know I have been without an e30 for some time now. (I sold my last 89is at the beginning of this summer when I bought an FZR600)
The weather here in Oregon is changing and the sun seems now to be constantly behind a sheet of wet gray sky. To sum up, I need a new e30.
I have been searching the forums and mostly craigslist like you could not believe. In fact, I ended up switching to http://crazedlist.org because it was taking so much time each day to switch the cities and re-search.. in doing so I have found several, not in Oregon - but in Washington, Idaho, even Illinois -but mostly in California (damn you all for holding hostage so many..)
I thought it might be an economical change from power to efficiency and decided to go with the 318, after owning others I instinctively opt for the S. Recently, however, one caught my eye as I played with the idea. This 325IX.

First off I checked out the carfax report to find that everything seems fine and normal. Then I had the seller send me pictures a couple days ago of the interior/exterior. Despite the broken fogs and a mangled valance - the car is clean. It took a couple days for him to get the car to a shop where I requested pictures of the belly. Although the mechanic says it leaks no oil, or any fluids for that matter, these pictures infer quite the contrary.

I'm 23 and by my calculations have spent roughly 11.5% of my live living, working, eating and even sleeping under e30s. The IX throws me for a loop though - many things are different. If I could only see and feel the car all my concerns would vanish.
I hope I haven't lost you because this is where you come in,
I have a big, e30 favor..
and I need your help.
The car is located in Cupertino, California.

Is there anyone who lives close to this area that would be willing to do a test drive of this car for me? Nothing out of the ordinary, just treat it like you are considering buying this car and let me know how it went..
I'll will buy you an ice cream cone, and even try to arrange to have that Miano girl show you her bewbs. (< PM sent, btw)
THANKS
