I don't think it's real kosher for a former owner to be dictating what someone does with the car that is no longer his interest. 'Bout the only way that works is if the seller is one of the buyer's parents... and even then I'd tell my own father to butt out.

Looking for rear wheel bearing tools.
A few weeks ago, a member was lending out his wheel bearing tools.
Only problem that he hated was that he was in NY and I in CA.
In the end, he didn't want to risk it.

Tried saerching for rear wheel bearing tools on said site but couldn't find them.
Do you know of anywhere else?

I care because Josh and I put countless hours and money into that car to make it what it was. What you paid for it barely even covered the parts on it. Eibach springs, Hockenheim wheels, all new brakes and pads, etc etc. It's your car and you can do with it what you will, but when I see you doing cosmetic stuff instead of fixing the main issue that's wrong with it, it irks me.

Then after getting in a fender bender you start tearing the dash apart and pulling out a bunch of stuff with little to no value...for what? If you've written off the car, sell it intact to someone who will make it whole again. Don't gut it to sell $100 worth of crappy gauges and leave the rest of the car too much of a basket case for the new owner. You should seriously sell this car to Farbin.

I apologize for not appreciating what you have done to the car. The time and money you put into it, I cannot match.

I am never planning on selling this car to insurance or stripping it out for parts.
At the time, I wanted to remove the seats but the wrench in my possession was not the right fit so I decided to start on the other parts.

The cluster, I removed because, the low gas light was out and there was a huge crack on the front screen that I wanted to replace.

The HVAC, becuase, the radio frontend came off and the bulb in the OBC needed to be replaced, only way I knew I saw after reading the forums was to remove the HVAC unit then reach the OBC. The underpanel beneath the steering wheel kept getting loose when I was driving and plan on having it replaced. The wires underneath, those are the alarm parts that came with it.

The wheel bearings, it is on the top of my list, my brakes started making noise so working on them first.

I am working on it, I have a list of dealers from here that I plan on contacting the time I do get the money.

I've contacted numerous persons on this site offerings their takes on various parts especially leaks that I've been told I have underneath the car that I did not know until my last oil change.

And I would never sell this car. These are my mistakes and I plan to learn from them. Not to discard in onto the next person available. I was raised better.

Borrower pays the lender a deposit so that if borrower breaks the tool or doesn't return it, lender can buy another tool, or at least they get their $$ back that they spent on the tool. As long as borrower returns tool to lender within specified time period, in good condition, borrower gets his deposit back.


Done and done.


Or, you can just continue to spend time bitching about it and making lame ass excuses on the interwebz.

TEH RIG! :D this scenario you speak of sounds a LOT like the local autozone tool lending program. you pay for tool up front, use it, return it un-snapped/otherwise damaged, and get your money back.

Things like this are avoided when you look further ahead than just the car in front of you.... I've watched cars right in front of me rear end people before and I just laugh. I am back there stopped watching it all go down - all because I was looking 10-20 cars ahead and seeing that traffic was stopped. Good times...
