    My New M3?

Ok, so it's really a BIG toy.

Yes this is the NEW release of the Tamiya TT-01 AC Schnitzer E30 M3. Of course, I had to make it a replica of my M3. So far I have got all the gear to run it, some hop-up's and a new motor. All that is left, is doing the CF hood, working with stickers SUCKS!

It looks better now, this is right after putting on the decals, and they were still wet, from my positioning spray. Lets see, 2hrs to assemble the chassis, about 8hs for the dam body, cutting it out is scary.

Hopefully my full hop up kit will arrive on monday with all the cool parts I need! Then I'm going to add some headlights & taillights.

Yes, it a FUN drift car!!

    :P

Not yet, I JUST got it. Believe it or not there is a HUGE racing thing for these, and next weekend, it's going to the track!

Jordan, look at the wing & splitter, I already have the CF tape, just doing a curved piece that big is hard, I might have to do 3 pieces on it.

I also have some BBS RC looking rims.

I am aware of the racing of R/C cars... I had 5 of them before I got into "real" cars, and I sold them off to pay for mods :) I had some Traxxas and Team Associated vehicles.

Looks cool, my son has already tore up those pretty wheels on the one I bought for him. We raced yesterday all day. I am impressed with the speed of the TT-01 with a stock rs-540. My TA-02sw with a team losi bb-540 race "motor" is not much faster. Maybe 7-8 mph faster but the tq it makes stomps his car.

I did ball bearing his car thou, and we gave it a cf prop shaft. My car is heavier due to I put aniti sway bars and lots of mods. It should be lighter with all the modded parts but it's slightly heavier.

I am running a junk old body thou.

Well, as far as I know, the kit doesn't come with EVERYTHING you need, I think it's just the chassis, body, and electrics. You have to buy a motor and radio, and porbably a few other things.

I think the kit runs about $100-130. Any decent and reputable hobby shop will carry the kit, and if not, they can probably order it. I think you can also get it online from Tower Hobbies.
