The owner of AKG will gladly tell you that the E30 suffers from a poor front suspension design, and that the urethane bushing ALWAYS fixes the dreaded "brake shudder".

Like I said, 99%. I would guess that you're the 1%. And I'm sure the owner of AKG likes to sell urethane bushings.

My car shuddered like a dog shitting a peach pit while braking.

My rotors were nasty ass drilled VERY worn pile of shit ebay junk.

We are talking grooves, warps, just fucking shit.

All I did was swap control arm bushings, as in AKG urethane non-offset.

My shudder went away 100%, as in GONE, with no other changes.

Think of the physics of braking forces acting on a control arm, and how much stress is placed on the CABs

Try it, you will be shocked.

I've got e30 m3 control arms, weaves, and new bearings. I wouldn't rule out the bushings, because I haven't lubed them (supposed to lube every 2k) but my question is how can I know.

          Sorry to thread jack

alrite im bumping this because last nite my steering got way worse. as i wus driving it started to feel shakier at about 50 mph then it started to shake extremely bad if i tried to turn right at all. now when im at a dead stop i have a lot of play in my wheel and if i utrn it, it clicks then turns. and u can feel it if u just wiggle it to the right and left a little bit while at a stop it just keeps clicking. i think it has something to do with my steering rack but i dont want to take it all apart if it isnt that, so does anybody have any suggestions first before i go ripping my car apart? anything would be helpful thanks.
