Word is, 30 years from now Pittsburgh (I'm not sure how for north this will go) will have the same climate as Alabama.

I've lived in so cal all my life and all the cars i've owned are so cal cars as well. My Dads 88 is rust free (owned since new), my 87 is rust free, and the 89 i bought form my co worker who had it since 92 had so much rust it was scary. The trunk lid, rear panel, floor pans, front cowl, bottom of doors and fenders. It looked like an east coast car. And he did not live near the ocean either.
