Just curious, no bashing. Offering a cheaper product with less then perfect results is not a bad thing...
But how cheap do you have to be? It's not like the other chips are $300 and his is $99. Wre talking a price differential of maybe $25 right now. I'm curious why RMS would even be after the OBD-1 chip market when they have been working on forced induction OBD-II cars for quite a few years now.

It's all because of me. I love these fucking cars and I love seeing them in the shop. And I also like helping out my fellow r3vers. It was my idea to start work on pre OBDII cars.

I'm surprised more of the OG members aren't posting in this thread. RMS is very well known as having pretty decent hardware but HORRIBLE tuning and customer service.

Sure, its possible that they've cleaned up their business. Its even possible Osh learned how to tune BMWs or hired someone who did. But I don't think they deserve anyone's business after what they've done to customers in the past.

The funny thing is that I've re-tuned some cars with RMS superchargers... just didn't work right originally.

The people in this business that know what they're doing end up fixing a lot of other people's mistakes. :)

                              Can´t find the dyno charts?
If you have a dyno you save the charts for review later at any time in the dyno´s database.
That´s how things are done, even shops that get clients in to do tuning do that.
If your dyno doesn´t do that, it´s time for an upgrade.

                              The aftermarket is 99% BS.
WOT part of the chip can be tuned easily enough on a dyno and surtenly doesn´t take a day, as a standalone doesn´t take a day to do a full fuel and ignition map.

it´s the part throttle and accelaration enrichment that are the KEY elements to be tuned on a BMW system,

I have noticed that the 173 and other Motronic 1.3 ecu´s have bad transitional fuelling while the grey market Motronic 1.0 for the E30 325i 9.7:1 engine is great transitional fuelling, a chip I had in a motronic 173 developed by a ecu tuner of 20years+
and has revisited the chip on occasions through the years has to be the most amazing chip I have ever had, no other chip I have ever had was that great.

Here is a dyno dynamics chart from it, engine had 200k miles on it.

The 177hp line is the original engine with 200+ on it, fair compression and motronic
the 178hp line is after I installed VEMS on the car and replaced the engine with a BONE stock high compression engine (´86 original headgasket) original headbolts as well.
it´s compression was also fair but #6 was real weak.

See what I did there? I presented information that will make sense and not just promise this or that........
