To look like high rollaz is my guess.

mikeedler's recommendation of an E38 (something like a 740i Sport with style 37's) is a pretty good idea. E32's are only a fraction less than a decent E38, and whilst the E38 have some electronic gremlins they are no worse than an E39 and nowhere near as bad as an E32.

Favorite 7 would have to be the 740i Sport. I've driven both back-to-back, and the 735i was very soft and extremely slow unless it was around or above 4k rpm. Both were autos. I really do like the e32 with a stick, though. The only other E32 I've driven had brand-new suspension, no (obvious) electrical issues, and a V8, and it was a blast. The e38 sport just feels like a lot more car for the money. Either way, electronics will be an issue.

Give me an Anthracite on Black 2000 740i Sport (the one with the updated headlamps + xenon, but with the amber corners,) sitting on staggered Style 37's with a nice Getrag 420G 6-speed manual and an Eisenmann race muffler/sound system and I will be a very happy boy.

i love my E32 !!!! not bad on gas , comfty as hell!!! , M30 is way to smooth..

its not slow actually. i can do 180km/h like nothing.

go for it no regrets for sure. p.s my E32 has 340,000kms and runs like a fuckin champ .. go for it take my word.

i would keep both the E30 and the E32.

self leveling rear suspension sucks. LKM sucks. gas mileage sucks. truck space sucks for how big of a car it is. buying parts sucks. electronic reclining rear seat is baller. car is comfy as hell. parking it isn't that bad at all. The first time I parallel parked it I was skeptical, but its pretty easy (Live in the city, have to parallel whenever I park pretty much). However spacers are usually tight, so you have to be good. you also have to pass on a ton of spots because the damn thing's too long. Also be prepared to get pulled over. Prob didn't help much that I had teh tint.

sold it an got an e34 525i.

m50 is nice, gas mileage is much better than the e32 (~26 hwy in the e34 vs 19 or something in the e32). ALL the luxuries (sans reclining rear seat) are found in the e34. I like the HVAC controls better in the e34. Still has armrests in the seats, a nice feature. Truck space fits just as much shit as an e32, maybe more as it's taller. Much more nimble. However I still didn't like that it was bigger/older, so I sold it and got this guy

it's more current, faster than the e34 and e32, more roomy than the e30. best gas mileage out of all of them (~29 hwy) plus it has fold down rear seats, the best feature to me

however the e32 was sick on the highway, took it on a few short roadtrips. e34 was great as well, drove it 3000 miles in one trip

The most I would go with a BMW series on the large side it's the 5, 7 it's too big for what I need , it's more for a "driver" and the owner as passenger, big buisness man for say the least.

I like E32s but not as much as an E38 sport. E32s look really dated but I have seen a few really nice ones.

If you go with the E32 I suggest getting one that had as little options as possible.

I was unaware of the negativity towards the E32.

Well, if you think about it, there are several floating around for $4-5k, which is a pretty good price for an early 90's executive saloon. But opting towards an E34 525i (M50) would be much more practical and easier on the wallet than an ancient 7er. If you really have the 7er bug and must have one, decent E38's can easily be had for $6-7k.

The E32's aren't bad cars, they're carbon copies of E34's (just a little larger, wider, etc.) but there is a good bit more things to go wrong in the electric and suspension departments.

the e32 isn't really a car that I would seek out, but if somebody I knew had one for sale and it was cheap I might go for it

e23's, not unless it was a 745i turbo
