It's just the lines flow smoother with the hatch . Japanese manufacters like notchbacks not me. :( But that car has some love in it. Dipped carcass chassis that's cool. Worth more than 2k now!! But now you have to detail paper work for stupid insurance criminals.

could have something to do with the author's claim of "how to build a car right". He was opening himself up to criticism with a bold comment like that. One obvious thing is why roll the fenders after you paint them? Much easier to do ahead of time to avoid cracking the paint and risk putting waves in the fender... so for me, that's not building a car right ;)

I hope no one likes the 240s too much, or you wouldn't be here.

These days some people talk about RWD and how it's popular, as if even a fad or bandwagon. Fast FWD Hondas used to be the shit, but now everyone is looking for rear-driven cheap cars. And the whole drifting thing.

But yeah, I'd say 240s are cool, but competition to the E30 clan. Hopefully all the ricers will opt for Japanese cars, and not Bavarian.

s13s with jdm front and sr20det are sweet, but I still love the e30.

Nah, it goes both ways. The guys I know who drive Nissans are not ricers. They have little to no respect for FWD cars because even the Japanese know that FWD=economy car.

They have joined the Chruch of Ryan and we are trying to get enough of the Nissan guys together to rent a weekend at HPT. Nissan doesnt have a NICO group solid enough here to fund events so they figured they could recruit some help from the Bimmer crowd.

My car gets nothing but love from the Nissan guys, and vice versa.

I didn't mean to imply that Nissans are ricers, because surely if you check out Max or Bf.c, you can find some bimmer ricers. I just said if ricers are looking for cheap RWD cars, I hope that snag a Nissan, and not a BMW.

One of the guys downstairs in the appt building has a 240 and it's real cool, and he's a cool guy. We can relate because the cars aren't really that much different in concept. btw, it is a hatch.
