And the ford bitterness thing... ford took Volvo over in 1999. That means, any ford bitterness is coming from the newer Volvo owners.

Of COURSE it looks good. It's Mtech2. :)

Volvo kids take the meaning of the word "nerdy" to a whole new level. Same applies for the word "hack job".
But yeah, the 240/245 can never be an honest competitor to the E30. Think about it. There is a reason there are no fat girls in the olympics.

... That being said, I REALLY like the old school 60s Volvo wagons.

Funny you guys get the "whaa whaa whaa I don't wanna search" thing too. Then people complain about how they can't search for less than 4 characters, then you tell them to use fricken google..

NOMAD, you seem to be filled with self-loathing. Quite frankly your lack of loyalty is disturbing. I wouldn't be particularly disappointed if you defected and got yourself into some Swedish iron, filled the roof rack with some kayaks, and moved in with your boyfriend. Your dad might never talk to you again, but I'm sure your mom will secretly call you and send a check your way every Christmas.

Well, here there is no excuse. Our servers are reasonably powerful, so you can search for two letter strings and numbers.

For example, I searched for FAG to find out how to do a front wheel bearing job. The search engine still needs a little work, though, because this was the first thread that popped up.

That's rather interesting! Although I think it is less popular these days, I think you can exploit the search script in websites to slow it down to a crawl and probably gain access to the server. Which I believe is why a lot of forums block it. But hey if you have the bandwidth and server power for it, it should be no issue. And besides like I said I don't think it is very prevalent anymore.

I like some Volvo's, There is a 92' wagon with a mustang GT 5.0l and 5-speed around the corner from my house, Has flat black wheels and looks to be lowered. Pretty sinister looking if you ask me.

N/A Power is always way more well respected than a turbo setup that gives you a ton of horsepower easily.

While I agree that NA power is well respected, turbo apps are more respected than nitrous. I don't get the whole my car is better than your car crap. Granted, I did roll up on a fart can equipped Chevy cavalier yesterday.(I still don't know why he was revving his engine... )

I freakin love euro's. And I think any person who is genuinely interested in cars can appreciate good hard work. I have no doubt in my mind that someone who runs a 9 sec 1/4 mile in a NA honda has put TIME into that car. And I respect them for that.

High compression engines have a sexiness to them, but turbo engines have their own brand of sexy included. And on a whole different level, supercharged engines sound very nice as well :)
