Once they find out how rare they are and how much BMW peeps want them and are willing to pay for them, They will quickly resort to the reps I think.

ravennexus01, you must forgive the developers of Gran Turismo 4 for omitting the Volvo 740 Estate Turbo.
In addition to Laguna Seca and Motegi, perhaps they should have included a course "Suburban Tesco Run", involving a balls-out dash to the market to pick up bacon and eggs for Sunday morning's breakfast. I bet the Volvo would have been gangbusters in such a course.-OVULATOR (as named by jflip2002)
Past Cars: Schwarz 1990 325i-2 (crashed), Calypsorot 1991 325i-2 Sport (rear ended)
Now: Blake-stitched mediocrity :(

I guess I will have to accept the fact that no matter what there will always be ignorant people in the "scene". It's sad honestly. We have something pretty genuine interests in common but you would rather take pot shots at the weight of the car and condescend the small "cute" turbo. Some people say the GT28rs is small and cute too, but can make some wicked power on the right engine.
Regardless of that, there may have been a few people saying they would do it. But as we ALL know the internet is all about talk. It's very easy to talk on the internet about what you plan to do. It is how you get ideas for what you would like to do. Oh yeah, and we didn't "all" say we were going to do it.
Besides it obviously isn't that hard to find a knock off...

Dude, I LIKE Volvo's, but there is a reason that I have BMWs, there is no denying the facts. We are all in it for the sport, and the E30 is a better "sport" car. I'm not taking a cheap "pot shot", nor are we going to sit by a campfire and sing kumbaya.
Oh yeah, if the replicas were a real genuinely GOOD option, we would all have them.
Nothing against you, I think your car looks really, really good. I would give you a thumbs up or a wave if I passed you on the street. But a 245 will never be an E30, sorry.Joe Funk -- Portland Oregon

To the guy who said a 245 will never be an e30 ... :) I agree. It will be rare that it will look nearly as sexy as well haha. But like someone else said, good for the market haha. Good thing I don't own one of those damn wagons anyways. ;-)
And I love the irony in the statement "You are a gentleman and a scholar". Always been one of those phrases that reaches some interesting meanings.
Most turbo setups are a birds nest, I don't see how that has anything to do with much of anything...
