Water pump/Timing belt/Thermostat every 50-60k

im not saying that im an idiot or anything of the like, i just feel that this would be a good thread, because up until today I would not have suspected anything like that to happen to me. Dont assume i know nothing about my car. Stupid shit happens to everyone. I dont want asshole responses or "yea change your oil." Less than 3/32nds is generally considered unsafe according to tire manufacturers. I know, not a huge difference, but tires and brakes are the two most important safety items on the car.

really? you drive a 20 year old car, things are going to break. Hell, any car, things are going to break. you always have to be on the lookout for things that are on the edge.
