Wheels stolen

Some jerk stole two and a half sets of wheels out of my backyard -- heck, they took the canvas storage bags too :( Please let me know if you see these show up on fleabay or elsewhere.

Stock iX steelies with OEM hub caps and good set of Michelin X-Ice tires - the idiots only took two?!?

Mille Miglia MM11s with fresh set of Kumho Ecstas

OZ Fittapaldii chrome 16" for e24 with good set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S

dang, that sucks. Seems like a rash of these thefts going around. The dealer where I work had 3 cars stripped of rims: one works mini and 2 M3s, all brand-new. We found the cars sitting on their brake rotors in the parking lot.

At any rate, I'll keep an eye out up here. Good luck finding them.

To make off with that many wheels, the perpetrator had to have two things:

#1 - knowledge of said wheels being out back in a unsecured place

#2 - a small pick up to haul it away in

Did you have anyone over recently which may have seen these? If not, someone cased out your place and waited until you were gone.

Thanks for well wishes. I have two sets of wheels (winter/summer) for two iX's and an e24. My place is fairly remote and the wheels/tires were stored where they couldn't easily been seen. However, there is a private drive behind us. Hunters come down the private road on occaision and it is now hunting season. I suspect that someone didn't bag a deer so they took what ever looked interesting after a six pack or two.

Chalk up another one to mankind being our own worst enemy. I figured that there weren't too many examples of these wheels around so it would be worthwhile to ask for help finding them.

They won't. Hate to sound so pessimistic, but you aren't getting any of them back. I had a set of wheels stolen off my front porch a couple years back, while I went inside for a couple hours to look up some info on the job I was doing. The cops came and took a report, but they told me not to hold out hope. Wheels usually go directly to ebay and are rarely ever recovered.

That sucks man, I frequent CL and Fleabay so I will keep an eye out for any of those wheels. FWIW, it's probably worth considering/keeping an eye out for anyone that may dislike you who has a larger truck or van.
