    First off, that sucks!

Was it some kind of parole violation or something? People don't get locked up for 25 years for mugging someone.

      True Stroy:

Back in 1990 when I was working at the local BMW dealership one of the guys who worked in the parts department on his spare time began making and gathering a total on a parts list for the e30. Every part needed to build a e30 from the ground up except for the unibody itself (I mean down to every nut and bolt and clip needed) that could be bought through the parts department. And back in the 1990's dollar it totalled up to something like $98,000.00 back then.

I am sure if the same thing was done now it would be considerably more than wha he added up 18 years ago (although now a lot of parts are NLA)...

      ;)

Out here (about the same time I think) we were given a fake a "TSB" about BMA NA not covering replacing the whole effin car to the tune of $98K (whatever the cost was) to fix the problem...

I actually think I may still have it...

Bwahahahahahaha..... Wow. That's scary how much profit they make on the identical parts.

Hey... I know where there is a 1991 318is with less than 1k on it.

Belongs to one of my customers, her husband bought it just before he died...

I treat her very, very well... Kind of sick, but I'm hoping she will either sell it to me cheap or she'll will it to me.
