just got back from head high long clean lines, hurricane frances gave long island some real good waves the past few days.

UPDATE: I bought a used board, and went surfing for the first time today. It was really fun, but a LOT harder than i had originally planned. So, ive got to get more practice, and a wet suit(itll be getting cold soon) I got up like 3 times in the whitewater and almost imedately fell back down. All in all, id say im pretty hooked.

No but seriously, when i went to hawaii I was lovin' it. The water was so clear and warm. The pacific gets damn cold. But i get used to it.

haha, you guys havent seen cold water till you surf here in the winter. water gets in the high 30's. it actually burns my face. and the worst part is getting out of your suit when your done.

That's nothing. Jeanne is spitting 12-15 foot glassy over here in West Palm today. I got my first "stand up" barrel. I'll have pics later when I get them from my friend.
