For all those people who find it more convenient to bother you with their question rather than to Google it for themselves.

M30 is sweet engine , its way to smooth for an older engine . bmw did an awesome job building that engine.

with 211hp and shit loads of torque its more than enough in "our" little bmws.

            Hmmm...

Some how I doubt this is an honest question...

            However..

If you mean how he is going to adapt the double VANOS to the e30... He is transplanting the entire DME MSS54 into it out of an e46 M3 donner...

If you meant how is he going to adapt the VANOS to boost... I'm sure he will tweak the software...

He's my guru when it comes to making the motors hum... I'm his when it comes to keeping them from twisting the car in half.

An M30 is awesome for a DD. I start out in second gear all the time. And with gas prices these days - it's not hard on the wallet.

m3 cammed m50 and a run of the mill m30 are your cheapest options that will make you enjoy your car. You can turbo either of them down the road with a few grand and r3v it shortly after.

If you have 5grand and just want to get it all over with at once, put the s52 in now, and r3v it next week.

I'm impressed! You've been a member for 6 years and yet you still manage to dig up a thread over a year old!!

I may be indicated as a "noobie" but at least I know that is retarded...

Huh, how'd I do that. Must have confused a search tab I had running with the "new posts" tab.

Back to your normal scheduled programming.

No one has accused me of paying attention to much these days.
