    Running w/o headrests

Ive got a 88 vert and im very tall

I cant stand the headrests and prefer a lowback seat

any opinions of how this would look?

I always enjoyed my aircooled VWs w/o headrests

and one have a goodlooking interior and have pics of this?

Forget about looks. Have you ever been rear ended? I have, was hit at about 30 mph. It was not fun. With out that headrest I would have really been injured.

Besides, front AND rear head rests on verts looks SO much cooler. Can you say eeeuuuurrroooo?

lol fisrt off the reason i dont want to run them is because my head is a good 4 inches above the headrest, im 6'4

is have the look at the ceiling for my neck to touch the thing unless its in the very front position

i think that the 4 head rest thing is lame too, not a fan of that specific euro look

im getting seatcovers made soon and i was just thinking i could omit the headrests and have them smooth on the top like lowbacks

            Very bad idea...

I have a crash test shot somewhere around here you should see.

            Raise the headrest.

I had to make a cut out in the knee bolster above the petals, cause the tips of my shoes kept catching on it. I only wear a 12 or 13.

As for the the head rest, it would just look like any car before 1968 with a clean bucket seat.

I'll venture a guess that if you are ever rear ended and you want coverage for injuries you'll be SOL due to eliminating/deactivating a safety device.

                    Hope you do some stretching.

At 6'4" you could just remove the driver seat and sit on the rear seat.

Take the headrest out and flip it backwards.
