Anyone have any ideas on moving the seat tracks back?

I'm only 6' 0", but I would like the driver seat to go back another inch or three.

And yeah, a more space between the pedals would be nice too for us bigfoots.

You know what they say about guys with big feet - they wear big shoes.

Oh yeah, that and we have huge schlongs.

What about the headrest from a later model? The newer cars seems to be more flat and rectangular. Might be high enough to work, since the E30's are pretty short.

I think he tried that, or he should if he hasn't done so. My headrests work fine.

i am 6'2, size 13 feet, have no problem shifting, and sit with the seat all the way forward all the time. unless i lean my head back and look up towards the visors, i can't reach the headrest (in the upright position) with the back of my head.

in the case of being rear-ended though, my head/neck would definitely be supported by the headrest, and even if you are 7 feet tall, i would think your neck would still be partially supported by the headrest, so don't take it out.

Just so you know, I had an event when an EMT, where a lady had no headrests, she was rear ended, and the force on the upper torso(Shoulder area) was so abrupt she stretched out and tore her aorta clean off her heart.

pay sucked in AZ so i ducked out of that. i was making so little $ (min wage in AZ) that i couldn't afford to pay for my fire science (fire fighting ) classes. so i went to turning wrenches instead.

it came in handy when i was on fire though! no one knew WTF to do, i had to tell them. it was a nightmare, good thing i went into shock!

I still run through all the basics in any emergency. I'm too sensitive to the busted up peoples, so I had to go back to broken cars.
