    Thieves are dicks

    Heres the deal,

My buddy and I are at school, we're in the same program, same classes I've known him for yearssss. Anyways we finish class and head back to his house to play some forza like we usually do. We pull upto his house, and his garage where they keep their 2003 Dodge viper SRT-10 isn't open. He's like alright, my dad just took it for a rip around the block, no biggy. We head inside and theres some papers on the floor, don't think anything of it. We walk upstairs where the T.V is and look into his parents room and there is shit EVERYWHERE, jewlery boxes all opened and dumped.

Turns out some people robbed his house in the middle of the fucking day, jacked the viper, stole all his parents jewlery, a brand new generator and outboard motor that were in the garage.

People are fucking disgusting, people work for shit and then they steal it in a matter of minutes.

Should have been smarter and keep their shit locked down tight especially with a viper, I would have a full nigh vision camera system running at all time..

    That is just me.

and I know he had a tracking system on the viper...

Ouch now that is some shit. I remember being robbed way back when I was 6 or 7. The only place the robbers didn't go was my room, but they did tear apart my parents room and the living room.

as the economy get worse things like this will become more common place as those who couldn't hack it turn to other means of funding.

look for a V-10 engine for sale on Craig's list or eBay. thieves are not the smartest.

did he have lo jack on it?
when they steal a car with lo jack or they think it has it they usually hide it some where for a week or two before attempting to do anything with it.

We live in a pretty low crime happy area. I mean, the thought of someone breaking into your locked house, stealing the keys to the car, and breaking into the locked garage and stealing the car doesn't go through your head often.

yea, i know what you mean. when things get desperate, people do desperate things.

lesson to be learned if you own an expensive car that you don't drive often. keep the keys secured (like in a safe if you have one)

ever watch to catch a thief on discovery, it give you a good idea of what is going to happen when your house gets broken onto.

Yea but should it really come to that? I mean its pretty fucked up if you have to lock the keys to something you own, in a safe inside your own home.

              Sad world we live in.

i have a CCW permit. i am armed just about everywhere i go. i don't flaunt it, you would never know i have a gun.
                why?
because you never know, when you might be in a bad situation.
it is good to be prepared!

i live in a relatively low crime area too.

To my overwhelming disgust, I worked a few where I had to pay for dogs in a theft claim.

I'll let you figure out the details.
