    Here are a couple of my old golf. It could have used a little rear spacing
    for the wheels (and just a hair lower), but I had a lot of fun building it.

      thanks! its apreciation like that ,is the reason i still have it. i enter it in shows, but i dont put out any identification cards or numbers so it cant be judged. i just like folks to admire it.!

      it has a type 3 tranny with early ghia short axles, 1835cc w/ 044 heads and a pair of 44idf webers. it scoots for a blunt object.

                  this was my notchback... these were the "for sale pics" when i bought it.

                  i took it apart, did a full re-spray in the original color, and coated the insides of all panels in POR15.

                  then it was too nice to drive, so i sold it to a collector, and now it's in a museum.... one of those "wish i never sold it" cars.. :(

                              Wow, that is one stunning Notchback. For some reason, it reminds me of an old Opel Kadett.
