^^ that + Dahlback engine = a raging wookie in my pants.

    Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrggggghhhhhspurt.

*edit* just read that site detailing the build of that car. Fucking hell. Something like that is the only car that could derail my desire to one day own a classic resto-rodded early 911.

+1 That motor just sounds wicked.

I always thought it would be cool to do the sport quattro on one of the long wheelbase coupes ala 2Bennett

It's got nothing to do with VW's.

I think it's badass that it's built underneath, and looks like death on the outside. Total sleeper-status. Don't like it? Tough shit. Go buy it from the guy and restore it yourself.

    Just an FYI.

While this car was at this dealership, I would walk down every other lunchtime and look at it. This place has an amazing collection of rare 50s/60s Aston Martins, Lamborghinis (x2 Miuras!), 250 Ferraris, a Daytona, etc. It is a field of motherfucking dreams.

We have vehicles suitable for buyers with all budgets and lifestyles

The red Mk1 above on Volk rims is also uber hot
<Sigh> I love that one too. It's so clean and done very, very well. Every once and awhile I search for outlaws and then get super depressed that the values keep climbing, even for basketcases that need new floorpans and longitudinals. But that blue one, that's the one I always had in my mind that I wanted to build though I hadn't even considered the trubo motor. JPS (http://www.jps-motorsports.com/) makes a replica 356A coupe but it isn't the same. It would prevent the purists from getting their panties in a bunch though.

I've seen some 912's that might fill the void, but I might save those for the Porsche thread.

Besides, I have an E30 and E21 that I need to finish before the wife gets really mad!
