Confirm please, these Pirelli wheels originally came on a certain vintage of Jettas? I've wondered if they would fit an E30. If they did, then I'd be on the hunt for a set.

They came on mk2 Jetta's. They are 4x100, and will fit e30's fine. ;)
A set can be had for around $400. Check on vwvortex.com in the wheel/ tire classifieds.

A friend of mine in my neighborhood has a 59 Beetle with a 2180cc stroker that he just put in. It sounds great and pulls really hard...makes the Beetle sort of a sleeper, it's surprisingly fast. I'll try to get some pics up sometime soon.
