it an original for people in a wheelchair. there was also a seat available so that 4 people can sit in the caddy. 2 in the front + 1 in a wheel chair and one guy on the seat in the back :)
but you can also drive the pope ^^

thank you. I know only 2 guys who have this hardtop... one of those is me and the other one is a friend of me. He is also the owner of that grey e28 with that big ACT wheels and the Alpina front.
We live 70km in the south of Hannover (Harz mountains).
here you can see a pic with the view of our house. I can get some better pics if you wish. Thats the only one that i found so far.

A few pics and videos of my buddy's 62 rag top Beetle...he bought it for cheap a year ago, fixed some rust, rattle canned it this last summer, and just built a brand new 2054cc motor with dual downdraft carbs and a low end cam a few thousand miles ago. It's come a long ways since he bought it, but still needs some work/mods.
