        ^if that is the case to create the grove removed the body trim. Fill the holes and paint. Voila.

          There is someone on this board who made custom trim for the sides. Anyone remember his SN?

          Also, Jordan’s old E30 is a good example of someone who just removed the trim all together and filled the holes.

            mentaleeill or something like that made the custom flatter trim; and it looks good. I asked him about it a while ago and he wasn't too keen on letting me in on what exactly he used. I understand though, his is unique. Shaving the trim is a good option if other things are don to the car, but it must be done right. Simply slapping filler in there and sanding it will end up looking like shit. It must be done right.

                    sure it can be easily turned into that. you just need to buy the original BMW M- technic II side panels and skirts. It is all bolt on-- mst drill a few holes though- and orig. BMW parts.
