As far as no marks on the ground, in most other airline crashes the pilots are trying to "save" the plane, not do as much damage as possible. Also, the majority of an aircraft's construction is aluminum; shoot an aluminum bullet at a reinforced structure and see how much of the original bullet you find and also if any of what you do find even resembles a bullet anymore. Lastly, since the majority of the plane was aluminum and there was approximately 5000 gallons of fuel on fire and aluminum has one of the lowest melting points of all metals, just how much of the original aluminum structure could you even hope to find?

I work with a guy who believes our government did this to our own citizens. Conspiracy theorists. It must be tough living in such a terrible country that allows them to think and say what they want.

It is interesting but I don't think it's true, Thats not to say I don't know our government is involved in things they should not be, there is a book called Rogue State which is a college textbook that has a catalog of all the (known) assasinations attempted & successful as well as governments that have been overthrown (successful & not) by our government.
