I'm really glad somebody is actually striving to protect our rights, not to take them away. Thanks for the info.

brandon, i'll be in Bethlehem for two weeks on the holidays. I'd love to hit up some yards just for something to do to pass the time. Any insights you can PM me? Any meets in the area?

I just went to the only strip it yourself junkyard in nj I know left. Someone just bought the place to do something. E30 is hard to come by around me. They had a e30 eta and 325i left. the 325i was done unless u wanted fenders or diving boards. the eta they had was up in the air on a metal stand. I got a few items needed. Odometor with the miles 400 off of mine. Damn that was nice. head light and fog section cause mine was worn out due to bulb. Shifter. Plastic sheild behind lights all for $55. Someone tore apart interior door for handles and the interior was a tan diamond plaid look. I do not know bmw term for that. it was nice. I hope the speedo work. Also when i pulled the speedo I noticed the e30 e and I speedo is different. the I has two small connections in the middle. When I pull mine in the morning i am going to see if i can work around it.

          Sounds like a good trip.
I just put an i speedo into my e with an m50 and the plugs matched fine.
Does that mean this place is soon to be fully gone?

Just went to a yard for my first time today. Selection wasn't that bad actually to what I was expecting. Were about 5 e30s. Was expecting to pay a little less though. $45 for a 173 ecu and #20 for volvo lip.

And people wonder why I buy every cheap BMW I find :???: now I have my own little junk yard :hitler: PNP used to be cheap enough that I would just go and buy parts, now they are way too expensive to buy a part unless I really need it, unless it is an LSD or a 5 speed.

This place is like catholic school, 2/3 of the students smoke weed on a daily basis, but the faculty seems to convince the outside world that drugs are just in the other schools, the resident pot dealer thinks he's cool because he has the originality to call anyone he doesn't like a homosexual, and most of the little children follow him like sheep, then there's the few with brains, you hardly ever hear from them, perhaps don't even know they exist, but they get all the sh!t done.

There is nothing wrong with being an entrepreneur, why not do it right? Say, get a business license, lease a building, track down wrecks, dismantle and catalog.
Low overhead is the key to any business sucess. If I dont need somthing, why get it? Since when is "doing it right" associated with frivellous expenditure?

I allready have a facility, tools etc, legally the only other thing i need is my 1040 form.

yea feel free to PM me, theres like 3-5 e30's in the area, mike usually comes down from williamsport. Feel free to come and pick from my garage, stop by for a brew whatever. The yards here are pretty bare at this moment, the closest yard only has 2 stripped e36's, the 2nd closest yard only has 2 auto 318i's and a beat eta.

In my parts an ice cream cart requires a business license. Like, you report your profits on your 1040.

I live in a fortunate area I guess. There are at least 5 pull yourself yards with in 30 min from me. I think I know all local enthusiasts in the area and we all look out for each other. I will say I have sold 3 sets of full bumper swaps installed and have 2x spares for everything in the car.

I've got two pick-n-pulls close to me, but they rarely have anything resembling a German car. No E30 heaven like pictured above. Sure would be nice though..

this is a good short way to put it.

                              it really ticks me off.
