I was under the impression that the 320is has an s14 in it ...?

Diamantschwarz slicktop 318iS with every option, M-Tech II, turbo M42, bagged, cleaned, shaved with hella flush fitment wheels.

EDIT: How could I forget? the South African E30 is one of the rarest and most desirable E30's to have. M3 suspension, M-Tech II, big engines and lots of rare parts...!

I prefer the '87 or earlier Euro cars with factory aero options. And preferably a B23 motor with a dogleg if it has to have an M20 based engine.

Add M3 suspension bits and that would be my ideal car. Well, that is my car.

It does, but it's only a 2.0L. The 320is exists because during the 80's, taxes on any car in Italy and Portugal with an engine over 2.0L were outrageous, so in place of the very desireable 325is with the M-Tech II package, they built a 2.0L version of the S14 and put it in the standard E30 body, so buyers could have the engine of an M3, with about the same power of a standard M20, in an M-Tech II bodied E30.

Was not there a SA 333i as well? That's the one I'd want. Not the pansy m3 in mtech2 clothing.

Yes, but how easy would it be to build that 2.0 S14 out to a 2.5L evo?
