    Hey blunt, how do you like those new fancy BMWs again?

    You'll love this





    I've used Motul 600 fluid and Carbotech pads on the track before and never had a problem with caliper pistons cracking.... burning paint off the calipers yes, cracking no.

                      In the link they say it is just a ceramic coating over the pistons. It still shouldn't be happening though.
