but you could still pick it up and part it out and make some money off of it. it would be a sad day if it really were an m3

working on that part. had to give up because i think the specific yard is closed on weekends.

I called about 15 people asking for said cousin... looking for a Bill, i decided to take a chance on a Willie. This old black lady answered the phone and asked for Bill. Didnt understand so i asked for Willie, She said this is she...... uh-kay... thats about where i gave up.

They probably looked up what an M3 is worth not running according to whole-sale value. They didnt want to rip you off at $500 ;).

Let me know if it's in a junkyard. I'll go look and confirm. And I'll buy the strut housings for a fraction of dealer cost!

    how's this for news...
he said his cousin brought the car to a yard this week. he got $300 for it...

But i mean, if this family is so ready to be rid of it, it couldnt possibly have been in good condition.

I dont know what to think. All i can do is try and track it down and see if the yard will sell it to me. If i dont find it by the end of Tuesday, I'll relenquish it's supposed location for anyone local to see if it really was an M3.

But now my mind wanders, did they look it up on ebay for a price verification, realized its worth and made up a very clean and apologetic story for me? I mean, if they figured out its worth, wouldnt they have just said, hey, we'll have to ask for more because of an apraisal.
I've tried to put together a number of stories and nothing seems more clear than I was just plain TOO LATE.
    How fucking rich is that?

    :curse:

behind this barn door is a e30 M3-- but you need to be in Germany to see that door.
