Reggie of www.reggiesmotorworks.com, that is. It was part of the deal when i sold him my 02, hed do the timing belt on e30 for me. Even though it wasnt part of original deal, he ended up doing the water pump and thermostat (well, i did the thermostat) also, and all the front coolant hoses, new diz cap and rotor, oil change and when he R&R'd the hood for the tbelt job, it fixed a slight bulge on the driver's side where the hood seemed to be bowing upward on that side. I also did the top o-ring on the crankcase-intake mani "pipe", hopefully to fix an oil leak there. That was supposed to be part of the deal, but since he did the water pump for free, i did the o-ring. was pretty simple, just did the tie-strap trick on the spring, knocked the tube into the block a little (with prybar/drift) and slipped new o-ring on top of pipe. Cut tie-straps on spring, and let it slide back into underside of intake mani. I also slipped the new thermostat in while the coolant was drained for t-belt job...
Oh, and the timing belt DEFINITELY needed changing (it was unknown to me due to just buying car off clueless PO), so I'm glad I went ahead and got it done before really driving it anywhere. Car is now insured, tagged, and ready to rock! :pimp:
Buy some parts or take your car to Reggie so he can afford to spend money on my (former) 02! :)
