Was said cop speeding? Siren/lights on - in pursuit or responding to a call? If you can justify that you were not at fault you can get some compensation....getting a lawyer may not be a bad idea. Just don't abuse the situation like that idiot years ago trying to sue McDonalds for a bazillion dollars due to spilled hot coffee.

I hope you have insurance too. Otherwise you might be eff'd.

well i pulled up to a stop sign, granted i pulled a little past the stop line. cop must have not thought that i was gonna stop or somethin because instead of tryin to swerve in front of me he swerved to the right and just ran right into me! i know he had to be speeding.. to me it looked like he was doin about 65 or 70 and the speed limit is no more than 55. he hit me n my wheel bounced off the curb so i didnt spin out just kinda rolled to a stop... but he was haulin enough ass to smash through me, the brock wall and end up in someones lawn... his airbags when off n everything,, and the whole front of his car was completely totaled!

and yah i have insurance..liability only though. oh and no sirens or lights

haha he couldnt even get out the the car if he did wanna write me a ticket...there were no accusations made.. they took his ass away in an ambulance!! a bunch of other cops showed up just asking questions n stuff, had me tell em what happened on camera... it was prolly the nicest ive ever been treated by cops... even let me have my own tow truck guy come get the car.. didnt do no field tests or dui blows, didnt search me or my car. just gave me the report slip n said be on my way...my tow truck driver whos a good friend of mine went to ask the cops(who he knows really well) what happened... and they kinds studdered and said they cant really talk about it right now... im pretty shure they knew it was his fault and so thats why i got off so easy..
