    California on a different planet?

This has been kinda irking me for a while now..

Why do people from California refuse to ship parts?

because there is enough interest locally to not have to ship things. and who wants to put something in a box and then go somewhere and pay something to have it sent? nobody.

          I fucking HATE shipping.

I am from California, maybe some coincidence?

Shipping sucks dick. I never shipped til I worked where I Do, and we get to ship for free. Even with that said, I still lag on sending out, to a fault.

I'll ship shit out of California. I even offered to pick up, and ship parts across country for someone, because the local guy didn't want to ship. I'll ship anything, as long as you pay for it.

What are you referring to? Some guy who won't ship you a hardtop or a transmission or a dashboard? or just some little crap that would fit in a flat-rate box?

When I had my business, we had an account with UPS. I would ship shit all the time because it was simple. Now, I dread having to find the right box, packaging, make labels, drive the item down, wait in line...etc. Then risk having the item damaged in shipping and dealing with the buyer. Then there is the issue of payment over the internet. At least in person, the buyer can see what they are getting and if they like it, they'll buy it with cash (most of the time). There are plenty of local enthusiasts as well.
