    Snow Tires - $37ea @ tire rack

Just a heads up - my friend Sam recently notified me that Tire Rack's got Firestone Winterforce knock off 185/70/14 's for $37ea right now. Studding for an extra $15 ea.

Diff sizes for relatively the same price also.

    I just picked up a set :)

this would be great news if I wasn't already stuck in the snow :)
Not that I care, of course.

these are not as nice as blizzaks. i had winterforce on a few winters back...they work, but not well.

hell of a lot cheaper tho

Well, I kind of figured as much. $37 only goes so far.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the Winterforce’s I’m running on my DD Escort. I picked up a mounted set off Craigslist back in the fall for $80.
My Escort on the no-seasons was un-drivable in even the slightest bit of snow, on the Winterforce’s I’ve had no trouble with my 100 mile round trip commute. There's been a few days already that at least 1 way of that commute has been entirely on snow packed roads.

                Can’t beat’m for $37/corner.

Stuck in the record snowfall in portland, never thought it would happen, I miss driving my car.

Likewise. Mine's plowed in with a flat right now - and some asshole illegally parked 12 inches from my rear bumper = I'm not goin no where.

I'm going to have to get AAA to pull me out (and tow the douche behind me if I have to) to the nearest shop once my tires come in.

Picked up a set of 195/65/14 Winter Force tires about a month ago. Got our first snow storm of the season and I was having a blast flying by AWD BMWs, Audis, MBs, and SUVs..

All I need is some extra weight in the trunk and I'm sure I'll be unstoppable ;)

This is a damn good price.. I paid about $10 more per tire when I ordered.
