    junk yard

    Went to the junk yard and picked up lots of parts today, the guy there couldnt understand why i wanted the e36 window switches when i drive an e30

      did you just get the switches? or the harness ends as well?

      i can't find anywhere that can sell me both online :(

              hope you bought the right ones.

              of the 8 different E36 window switches, only 1 will work.

                anyone know what part # it is? they can't be *that* expensive new.. can they? that would be the simplest way to get the right ones.

                I'd actually be more interested in a one-touch system, especially for my sunroof. I hate driving around with one hand off the wheel and the sunroof takes forever to open and close :P

                    Which swithces do work. My buddy has a 96 328i that he is getting back from the insurance company after it was totalled a few weeks back. I only need 2 and i'm sure he'll let them go cheap if anybody else is interested.

                      The switches are 61 31 8 365 300.
                      Still working on the harness part number.

                          You can't get just swtiches. You need the little control unit for it too if you want the one touch to work.
