Since oil pan plates have been done, how about a tool for changing oil pans?

Something that goes across the top fender rails, and allows you to jack up your motor, and then hold it there while you change pans, or drop the subframe.

No need for your airflow data on that one!

                            Speaking of which...

We need to go back out to Area 51 and steal another flying saucer to salvage...

We are almost out of Unobtainium.

From what I've found, the M/S5X swaps use the E34 M50 pump and pan...which work alright for the US motors but are a big compromise for the S50 Euro and S54...which have the semi-dry sump dual oil pickup arrangement. Granted, I haven't done a swap yet, or flogged one around a track, but it would seem to me that relocating the oil pump/pickup could cause oil starvation, and especially for the Euro motors.

I would be all over a swap baffle/euro-S50-ish setup....once I get to the swap part of the project.

Noted... Oil pan baffles with slosh gates is something we can do well.
